Kruegers Bar A neighborhood saloon just outside of the chic Clayton downtown, Krueger’s has catered to a mish-mosh of students, blue collar folk and bankers since 1946. This one-story brick building, now painted a deep rusty red, has housed a bar since the repeal of prohibition. Inside you'll find one large room with a bunch of tables and chairs. With exposed brick walls and thick wood support columns, the space looks and feels old. The décor includes such salvaged artifacts as wall sconces from the Gas Light District and huge ornate mirrors gleaned from a now defunct local Catholic girl’s school. click to view website |
